The replacement work is built to a published specification because that is what earns cover from the manufacturer. The smaller jobs are detailed the same way even though no paper comes with them, because a kick-out flashing either works or it does not and the price difference between doing it right and doing it quickly is about ten minutes.
What changes between these pages is the scale. What does not change is the order things get done in.
